One of the most important things Parenthood has taught me is the best place for kids to learn is outside.

Kids learn better through experiences which cannot be replicated in a classroom. Which explains why I have always been bringing the monkies out whenever the weekend roll along.

And one outdoor activity they love is a good obstacle course, better yet if it is suspended among the trees like Forest Adventure! And even better if they get all messy because DIRT IS GOOD!

No worries for me, not when I have Breeze detergent with its powerful stain removal properties watching my back. And speaking of Breeze, find out how kids get to go for FREE at Forest Adventure in the post!

About author
Founder of the cheekiemonkie.net blog, I am also the author of 'Got Kids, Go Where?' - a book of 500 activities for parents to do with their kids in Singapore. I have guest written for Yahoo! Singapore Parenting website and was invited as a speaker at Asian Festival of Children's Content 2015, and a panelist for Singapore Children's Forum 2015. I was appointed a judge for Singapore Tourism Awards 2016 & 2017, and a Council Member of the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) Family & Community and Families for Life Council. I also co-founded Daddy Matters (www.daddymatters.sg)—an online community of active dads as well as dads who want to be active in promoting the message of active fathering to everyone. Strongly believing in the maxim “ who says parenting can’t be fun?”, the blog covers the adventures that we embark on together as a family. It features new, fun and kids-friendly places to visit or dine in, the occasional overseas trips when the travel bugs bites as well as reviews of kids and lifestyle products and gadgets that the family will enjoy.
